Dr. Kevin Merges

Dr. Kevin Merges is the Chief Global Impact Officer at Saddle River Day School.   At the beginning of his career he taught secondary school mathematics, and later at Rutgers University.  He has presented at conferences around the United States and in over a dozen countries worldwide, on the topic of communication through online environments, international education, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality to communicate educational units with constituents.

Saddle River Day School is excited to work with NGOs and government entities to share our knowledge of emerging technologies.

Michelle Cummings

Michelle Cummings is the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) at Brisk Teaching. She has had an extensive career in K-12 education and ed tech, teaching secondary English and social studies, and serving as an elementary principal, high school principal, and assistant superintendent. AASA honored her with their Women in Leadership awards. Michelle was previously the CAO at Teachers Pay Teachers and Jossey-Bass published her book, The First-Year Teacher's Survival Guide, 5th ed. last spring. Michelle graduated from Brown University and earned her Ed.M at Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Arman Jaffer

Arman Jaffer is the founder and CEO of Brisk Teaching. Brisk is an AI tool that helps educators personalize their instruction and save hours of time on administrative tasks. Brisk is directly integrated within educators' existing tools and supports the differentiation of texts, content creation, feedback on student work, and deployment of lesson-aligned AI tutors to students. A year after launching, Brisk is used by one in ten teachers in the US. Prior to founding Brisk, Arman worked in the Office of the CTO at the White House and led an education team at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
