Dr. Andrew Rasugu Riechi

Researcher and Policy Analyst

Dr. Andrew Rasugu Riechi is an accomplished researcher and policy analyst with over 20 years of work experience in educational leadership, teaching, research and consultancy in education and development in Kenya and other African countries. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Economics of Education from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has a track record in research and consultancies in the Government of Kenya and a wide range of international organizations including the IFC, the European Union, Education Development Trust (formerly CfBT), UNICEF, USAID, World Vision, UNESCO, Education for Change Ltd, RTI, Save the Children, the Africa Early Childhood Network (AfECN), among others. He is a Life Member, Comparative Education Society of India (CESI) (http://www.cesindia.net) and member, African Network for Internationalization of Education (ANIE) (http://www.anienetwork.org/). He recently was elected to the UNESCO Institute of Statistics Governing board.
